Unfortunately no they will not. The MDR-NC13 Noise Canceling Earbuds, provide 90% ambient noise reduction. The NC13 ear buds will cancel out over 9 Decibels (dB) of background noise, making them the perfect accessory for air travel, riding the train or bus, or even in the office or the gym. The average lawnmower produces well over 90 dB and hearing protection is advised.

That said, the silicone ear tips come in multiple sizes to ensure a good fit for sound isolating properties. You will notice a difference when the noise-cancelling feature is switched on but it will not make up for the noise generated from a lawn-mower.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use them for vaccuming... I have not yet mowed the lawn. My response is they will not. As I can still hear my vaccum cleaner... :) You'll be better off using regular ear plugs, from your local hardware store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They will NOT cancel the noise of a lawn mower. Absolutely not. They will dampen it only...and probably only slightly for a lawnmower. I could still hear conversations and normal sounds on a plane. But they definitely help dampen the impact. I believe, from something I read in the packaging, that they reduce ambient noise.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.good question, you have to read the ambient noise reduction percentage, these earbuds have up to 90% which is good, but it won't elimanate all the noise of the lawn mower, it will help. remember, ambient noise that these noise cancelling headphones get tested with is office noise, airplane, train, people talking, baby crying, bus. lawn mower is a little bit louder and is right next to you.
