• Will not work with Phones... uses the "hot Shoe" which is found on cameras, dslrs etc.. you may want to look at lavalier microphones for your iphone

• Hi KH, this microphone attaches to the multi interface shoe found in Sony cameras and camcorders. We recommend looking for microphones with a 3.5 mm jack, such as the ECMCS3 lapel mic. Thanks_Mitch
