Does tbis camera record in 1080p or 1080i null

Actually to respond to the guy that asked who would want to record in a mode that is not 4k. It is double the resolution but it is also well over 10 times the file size. In fact, recording in 4k will fill up a 16 SD card in 6 minutes. So, many people with 4k cameras rarely set the camera to 4k resolution. It is mostly for taking nice pictures, or shooting a short video to pull pictures from.

It appears to be progressive and not interlaced. I have been using it to record in 4K which is a higher resolution than 1080.

Yes, of course. Go to the setting menu but who wants to spend $$$ on 4K and recording in 1080.
