Hi Brent, Thank you for your interest in the MHCV13. Unfortunately, this unit doesn't support the HDMI connection. We suggest connecting your TV to this unit via the AUDIO IN port using a regular 3.5mm audio cable. Yes, you can pair your mobile device to play Youtube and start singing along with the music by connecting a microphone (not supplied) to the MIC/GUITAR jack on the system. Hope this helps! -Sam
