You can connect it to your smart tv easily with Bluetooth. It's definitely louder than most sound bars and is dual purpose because you can take it camping or elsewhere. Perhaps cant compete with full surround sound systems but then you take into consideration the price and the fact you could just buy 2 or 3 ect and sync them up over bluetooth which would still be a better option than buying an expensive surround system and running wires everywhere

Please try again later.I would assume so it has Bluetooth an NFC an it has an audio in port so if your tv has an audio out port on it u can just plug it up that way or if your TV has NFC or Blutooth u can connect that way! ....an to your question about does match what a sound bar can do it in the area an depends on what kind of sound bar u talking about because it not made of the same materials
