No problem. The power cord (included) is meant for this type of use. You still have the option to use the built-in rechargeable battery for example when going to a party or if you may have forgetten the cord at home. As long as the battery level is good or been checked while on the go which option buttons on the top once you hold for 3 seconds voices the battery level or you can check on the Sony Music App.
