I believe it is only compatible with PS5, but not completely sure. That is what i searched for and it works seamlessly with PS5.

Respectfully, your purchase would be a waste of money when you can source Shock cons specific to PS4 for cheaper than this next gen one. Not a recommended solution for your stated usage.
