Yes it works on pc, either via bluetooth or connect it to the pc with a cable.

Probably, but you will most likely still need to use DS4Windows to get it to work. Remember that both Xbox and Windows belong to Microsoft. The Xbox has actually been integrated into Windows with the Xbox app on Windows. Using an Xbox controller works without any help from third party programs.

Just a wild guess and my opinion but there is a similar question about whether or not it will work with a PS4 (backwards compatibility) and no one knows. But if it does work with a PS4 it might make sense that it would also work with a PC because the Dualshock 4 was PC and Bluetooth capable. That would be cool if they made it compatible with a cell phone which some Xbox controllers can do. Then you could stream games or fly a drone.
