No but i wish. You can order different colors, but the colors themselves do not change with temp, touch, etc. You may be able to find a custom controller shop who has that as an option.

The color of the shell has different choices, the lights under the trackpad change according to your game. It turns orange when charging as well.

No, it cannot change cooler. However the colored controllers are supposed to have upgraded analog mechanisms. Which I've read will allow them to function longer than the black or white controllers.
