Once it reaches 12 AM anywhere in the US the retailer is allowed to start selling because it was already 12 AM on the East Coast so technically it was the 24th and can be considered for the whole America .. many releases happen like this so this is nothing new that the West Coast to be around 10 or 11 PM when this will be released .. A lot of people on the West Coast got it because they were prepared and knew that if could possibly go live as soon as it reaches 12 AM anywhere in the US so everyone had to be ready!
