This is the newest console coming out, and if you get the $500 (more expensive version) version of the Playstation 5 it will be able to play both Playstation 5, And Playstation 4 discs. The cheaper Playstation 5, the digital version, cannot play discs so you would need to buy the older games as well as all of the newer games through the Playstation Network marketplace digitally. If you can afford a Playstation 5, this is the one to get, and is worth waiting to get one if you need to wait and intend to play most newer games coming out along with the older games. This one is very future-proof, and this version with the bluray drive assures you will be able to watch 4K UHD bluray movies through it as well as be able to buy used games on disc or when heavily discounted on disc from retailers as well as trade/borrow games on disc. The Playstation Network marketplace will be an additional option with it of course.
