because it was already sold out by the time you attempted to place the order. next time create an account and save your payment method and you can just click to place in cart then to place order and save a bunch of time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You were too slow. they sold out in seconds!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You and a bunch of us. Because Bestbuy completely botch'd this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Join the club. Basically, the servers were overloaded with requests for order placements, and therefore not all requests were accepted as too many were attempting to process at the same time. Best Buy did not handle this well (nor did Walmart, who started the buy frenzy by launching pre-orders hours early, Amazon, who had a backdoor for people to get orders in before the listing existed on their website, or Gamestop, who sold out before they even sent notification messages to those who asked for it). So... all in all, all 4 broke the street date for pre-orders, and we the consumers were left with this mess.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did the sane thing around midnight and it wouldn't let me place so I waited until 3 in the morning and I got it in my cart but I couldn’t view it and it kept telling me to contact the site owner but I added headphones and I could finally view my cart that I clicked continue to information where It took a good 5 mins to get on my payment page but after I put in my credit card it didn't wanna go through so I kept clicking until It said "you've preordered the ps5" I'm just like Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are tens of thousands of people doing the same thing. The website is under a large amount of load, therefore, you really just had to get lucky.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They're all gone. They'll have more available before release date, though, just be patient and keep focused on checking periodically. They released enough pre-orders just to get an idea of the production numbers needed. Once they have a good number of how quickly they went out of stock, they'll estimate how hard they will need to push factories to get the stock ready and get more products out to the public.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just didn't make the cut sorry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Their servers where under a lot of traffic. Sony neglected to inform anyone of the pre-order date during their showcase. I was eventually able to get through by refreshing and filling it all in rapidly. I also believe it wasn't supposed to post pre order until later today.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same here, kind of. I got the PS5 (disc version) in my cart, got to the Checkout window, but whenever I clicked on the "Checkout" button it just loaded & loaded & loaded every time. I tried it for 20 minutes (about 100 times), then it said sold out, so I just gave up. What that means is thousands of people were trying to checkout and buy one all at once. Best Buy's site glitches out whenever there's an overflow of traffic, it appears, because this happened to me before when many are trying to buy the same thing at the same time. Seems to me the Geek Squad needs to fix this site.
