• Walmart for some reason decided to go against Sony and did it early, which forced Sony to tell Bestbuy, Target, and others to put it up

• Because Sony decided to release their pre orders through selected retailers. Due to this, they forced Best buy to release theirs with no announcement.

• These places must of started pre orders early so employees and friends could be sure to get thiers

• Big releases will have a release date and allow preorder at midnight, but if you are on PST time it would actually be 9pm the evening prior.

• Multiple other retailers started early, so they did as well. This, and they technically started on time in other time zones.
