Q: QuestionWHY WASNT THERE E-MAILS ABOUT THE RELEASE? I LIVE IN PENSACOLA FLORIDA AND WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A HURRICANE AND HAD NO IDEA THE PRE-ORDER WAS OPEN! WE DO NOT EVEN HAVE A STORE THAT IS OPEN WITHIN 60 MILES DO THE HURRICANE HITTING LAST NIGHT

Q: QuestionWhen can I get ability to pre order? Been trying since went live as well? Can't get it anywhere. Plus I heard it's sony who won't allow it? Is there a way to get notified when able to pre order ps5?

• A:Answer Traffic cleared up around 11:30 PM PST and people were able to check out. I jumped on the site, added the PS5, games and controllers and was checked out in five minutes. Sony doesn't control Best Buy's website BTW. You missed the boat as Sony has only made 10 million units so far and, after the pre-orders, they'll still need some for launch day sales.

Q: QuestionAs others stated, your pre-ordering process seems designed to alienate customers; tried to purchase last night and the app failed miserably, so went to the site. It allowed me to add the PS5 to my cart, but when I tried to check out, it failed repeatedly.
