It's possible to use it. However not recommended. HDMI2.0 can run on 1080 at 120mhz. But it's at the limit. Would you stomp on the gas of your vehicle and never let up? This is the same concept of stress you're putting on your tv. It's using 99.9% of the procesing power ALL the time. This would lead to a new tv sooner, as you risk (after some time of course) wearing down the integrity of your internal components.
