It should be activated prior to being shipped out. All you have to do is scratch to reveal the code and enter the code.

It is already activated once it is shipped. You have to rub off the silver security strip to get the code.

There's an activation code on the back of the card. When the card arrives, scratch out the code, enter it in the Playstation Plus section of the PSN store, and you're good to go! Hope this helps!

You have to go to the playstation website an activate it yourself. The instructions are on the back of the card, it's pretty straightforward.

not activated until you go to playstation store on your PS4, PS3, PS Store app, or PS Store website. once there choose the redeem code option and enter the number from the scratch off portion of the card.
