• The files are definitely date and time stamped. Just be sure to correctly set the date and time when first setting up the recorder, and after changing the batteries (so far every time I changed batteries, the “Set Date & Time” screen reappears.) All of my old recordings still keep the same dates/times of when I originally recorded them after swapping batteries, too.
