Q: QuestionI use Macs but would like to use this recorder. Would I just have to use the SD card to transfer the files to my Mac, instead of the direct transfer via USB, which seems to only be compatible with PCs? (Even tho Macs can pretty much read anything PC)

• A:Answer I purchased this revorder last month, it works great. High volume playback. Use it 3 hour classes x 4 per week without changing batteries. I record three hours straigh non-stop. Before you hide lower the volume to zero and reset settings to mute when recording. Hope this helps

• A:Answer Hi, Caleb! All saved recordings are stored even if the battery dies. A new file is created if you start a new recording (if the stop button was pressed from the last recording). The unit comes with 4 GB of memory built-in, which gives you a max recording time of 59hrs 35m when recording in stereo at MP3 128 kbps. You can expand your memory capacity with a micro SD card for up to 32 GB2 of additional memory—equivalent to over 536 hours (Micro SD 32 GB, MP3 128 kbps) of recording time. ~Ralph

• A:Answer Possible, but not necessarily probable. There is a mic input on the Sony, for connecting an external mic. You might be able to connect that input to the headphone jack on your phone, but you'll have to check your particular phone to see if the headphone jack will output both sides of a phone conversation, as not all do. If it does, Best Buy should be able to sell you the correct 3.5mm stereo jack (goes into the phone) to 3.5mm mono jack (that goes into the Sony recorder's mic input) cable.
