“I use Macs but would like to use this recorder. Would I just have to use the SD card to transfer the files to my Mac, instead of the direct transfer via USB, which seems to only be compatible with PCs? (Even tho Macs can pretty much read anything PC)”

I just used these at a marching band competition. I recorded to the on-board storage and connected them to my Mac through the USB connection on the recorder. They mounted just fine as an external storage device and I copied the audio files onto my Mac without issue.
