• A:Answer Yes. You have to got to Settings, Recording, press the Down Arrow 7x, set VOR to ON. To Record press the Record button, the unit will start recording. It will PAUSE after 3 seconds of silence, it will restart recording when it hears sound, and continues until you press STOP.

Q: QuestionI am thinking of using this unit to record 2-way radio communication. I will plug the audio in via a 1/8 cable. Using VOR mode, once I hit RECORD, will it pause between audio events, and keep these in the same file? What is the max time of a file?

• A:Answer You can press pause between events and then record again and it will be on same file. Once you press the stop button, it creates a new file. Always pause to keep in one file and the stop when you are through recording.

• A:Answer As long as you turn the BEEP sound to Off, it is fine. I have not had any problems with mine doing that. The first thing I did when I got mine was to flip through the menu and turn that annoying sound off.
