“I am thinking of using this unit to record 2-way radio communication. I will plug the audio in via a 1/8 cable. Using VOR mode, once I hit RECORD, will it pause between audio events, and keep these in the same file? What is the max time of a file?”

You can press pause between events and then record again and it will be on same file. Once you press the stop button, it creates a new file. Always pause to keep in one file and the stop when you are through recording.
