• It does have a little slot for adding a strap. You could certainly find a way to hang it from a lanyard.

• Hi Meloadaisy, yes. This recorder has a strap hole where you can tie a strap or a neck lanyard. However, the strap/lanyard is not supplied. Thanks, -Mark
