Hi Me, Thanks for your inquiry. If a passkey* is required on the display of the BLUETOOTH device, enter “0000.” For Apple iOS devices, the unit is compatible with iOS 10.0 or later. A BLUETOOTH connection is not available on the devices with iOS 9.x or earlier. Follow the procedures below for pairing and connecting with BLUETOOTH devices: 1. Press the (power) button. 2. Check the status of the (BLUETOOTH) indicator. - When the speaker has no pairing information, for example when you use the BLUETOOTH function for the first time after purchase, the(BLUETOOTH) indicator keeps double flashing in blue. 3. Press the (BLUETOOTH) button. - You hear voice guidance (BLUETOOTH pairing) from the speaker and the (BLUETOOTH) indicator starts double flashing (pairing mode). 4. Perform the pairing procedure on the BLUETOOTH device to detect the speaker. - When a list of detected devices appears on the display of the BLUETOOTH device, select “SRS-XB23.” - If a passkey* is required on the display of the BLUETOOTH device, enter “0000.” * The passkey may be called a “passcode,” “PIN code,” “PIN number,” or “password.” 5. Make the BLUETOOTH connection from the BLUETOOTH device. - When the BLUETOOTH connection is established, you hear voice guidance (BLUETOOTH connected) from the speaker and the activity of the(BLUETOOTH) indicator changes from flashing to lit. - If the BLUETOOTH connection is not established, repeat from step number 3. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you have to put it in pairing mode the first time. I think you just hold the bluetooth button till it flashes blue. Then you should be able to find it on your bt devices list in your iphone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No activation code needed, once is paired with your phone or any device is good to go
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue, until I read the directions, again, about 3 times. It was important to follow the pairing sequences, exactly as stated. You do not turn the other speaker on until the first one is all set. Then you must have one set up for Party before you try to party with the next one. Something like that. Basically, each speaker tries to be dominant, so you must put one in total charge first and set him or her up so they can take more "party goers" into the loop. It works great, when you can get the exact right order. I love the speakers with the clarity and the base sound! Best of luck! and Happy New Year! Thnkabotit
