No not at all technology now a days is so advanced to where it doesn’t damage it for leaving it plugged in . You can feel safe with the purchase of this speaker you will not regret your purchase .

There is a voice guidance function with this speaker that will tell you if the speaker is fully charge.Unplug it once you heard it. Charging will be completed in about 8 hours approx. For details, see the link below.
