Hi Timothy, Thank you for your interest in the SRSXB43. Unfortunately, this unit cannot be paired with the SRSXB41. The XB43 still has a Party Connect function that is capable of connecting to these compatible models: SRS-XB43, SRS-XB33, SRS-XB23. And you can pair it with up to 100 devices in total. IF you do pick up more, make sure you use the Sony Music Center App so you can control them properly. -Sam
