Best Buy does sell the an optical to RCA converter, which would do what you are looking for. You would then use a 3.5 to RCA cable to connect to the XB43.
However, we cannot guarantee its operation.

A:AnswerSony doesn't publish watts officially. I can say that this speaker is about as loud as one of its size and price will get. Not a ripoff for sure.
