A:AnswerSpeaker outputs are clip style. This is a regular stereo receiver, NOT set up for surround sound. All inputs are RCA. Check the pictures. It does have however , 4 speaker outputs A+B setting so you can run 4 speakers at a time. Again look at pic's and read description .

A:AnswerI have an old pair of small Advent speakers which are 4 ohm. I added a 2 ohm 10 watt resistor in series with each speaker so now the Sony is driving a 6 ohm load. The power received by the speakers is less but at 100W per channel I never set the volume higher than 40 anyway. It sounds great. If you have 4 ohm speakers you like this will allow you to use them with the Sony.
