A:AnswerI have two different Sony AV receivers.
I have not had any problem with any of the functions performed manually without using a remote with either of receivers.
It does not mean I have systematically tested every single function but no issues nonetheless!
A:AnswerNope.
Unless you connect your pc audio out to an audio input of the receiver. Then playback sd with pc.
Ive had my pc hooked up to my receivers for years
A:AnswerI didn’t have to buy anything for it there is a wire antenna (if that is what it is called) that comes with it and that is the only thing I have on mine and it works!
A:AnswerHi Jsg17, Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, no. This receiver doesn't have an audio output jack for soundbars. We only recommend connecting speakers to the speaker terminal jacks of this receiver using regular speaker cables. Please note: Connect speakers with impedances of 6 to 16 ohms. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerYes two sets of 8 ohm speakers will work. You will need to select A+B on the speaker menu after connecting the speakers. This will allow you to play the same source on both sets of speakers.
A:AnswerHi Ty, Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately,no. This receiver does not have an IR extender port. If you're looking for a Sony receiver that supports IR extender/repeater, I'd recommend checking out the STRDN1080 model. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerUnfortunately it does not run output to Bluetooth speakers. The Bluetooth is for devices such as your phone or iPad that can connect to it and stream Spotify or Apple Music etc. you could go purchase a Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack and use that as output to a Bluetooth speaker but that might be too much to do. Another workaround is run the headphone jack plug to the aux on the speaker using a 3.5” stereo cable.
A:AnswerThe spec sheet is incorrect on several items. It does come with a remote, and the speaker connectors are spring clip, not RCA. The Receiver is great. I am running it through a couple of restored Advent Legacy, with JBL studio monitors passive through a Polk Audio 10" subwoofer. I have a turntable and computer audio connected as well. It is beautiful, clean sound. Lesser speakers I imagine would sound fine. I am not sure if it would drive some massive magnets like old 15" Cerwin Vega, or some such, but then again, it may. I have been very impressed with the Receiver so far. I have not used the Blue Tooth yet, so I cannot comment on that.
