QuestionI have 2 Logitech speakers that have a subwoofer connected to them ( all connected to my computer with a 3.5mm earphone jack). I also have 2 older speakers that use speaker wire. Could I use this to hook all of them together with my laptop?

- Answer Hi Nikolaus, This receiver requires speaker wire to connect your speakers. As long as your speakers are within the impedance rating of 6 to 16 ohms then they should work. -Sam

QuestionI just purchased this receiver and opened the box there were no coaxial cables. The reason I purchased this was to connect to my built in home speakers to play throughout my home. Was this the correct item? If so where do I get the red and white cables?

- Answer Hi Mj, Audio cables are sold separately. You don't need to have coaxial cables or red/white cables to connect the unit to your home speakers. - Answer Hi Pigeonman, Unfortunately, An equalizer needs to be connected to the tape monitor loop on an AV receiver in order to operate. The current line of Sony receivers does not have a tape monitor loop. For this reason, it is not possible to connect an add-on equalizer to current Sony AV receivers. -Sam
