It’s a basic stereo am/fm receiver, meaning a combined tuner and amplifier. I think it includes a pre-amp for hooking up a turntable. I purchased this unit to use in my “man cave” to stream music from my iPhone while exercising or working on my Honey-Do list. So includes a Bluetooth system as well. It does the job I purchased it for very well.

It is a tuner and receiver, so yes it can receive FM stations. It comes with a wire FM antenna as well. Importantly for me, it also has phono jacks for a turntable. It's a great value for the price IMO.
