Will this receiver allow me to use several speakers? I have 4 regular speakers and a subwoofer, plus two outdoor speakers that are connected through a separate 'monster box', to basically add a second zone.

Hi PeggyL, we appreciate your interest in the STRDH790. This receiver can accommodate up to a maximum of 7 total speaker channels and 2 subwoofers. Unfortunately, the STR-DH790 doesn't have zoning function. You may want to consider the STRDH1080 instead. Thanks. -Jess

The units have a Speaker A and a Speaker B system. So yes, you can power 2 additional speakers via the Speaker B system.
