That really should work. Everything you mentioned above supports HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronic Control), which allows the devices to communicate with each other over the HDMI cables (just like they have been doing with the soundbar already). You mentioned already having speakers, just make sure they are the correct impedance to use with this receiver (6-16 ohm).

Possibly yes but not 100% sure ,most of the time if your tv support ARC HDMI ,it will power it up/down
