Check your receiver. If it displays Atmos then it is correct. I agree for whatever reason the player doesn't display Atmos but if the receiver says Atmos than your player is bitstreaming properly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In audio settings, turn off the BD sound mix. It worked with me. It still says true hd in the 4K machine, but Atmos in the receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a certain setting in the audio which you have to turn off for this to work. I forget exactly what it's called but when I turned this off my receiver switched to Dolby Atmos. It's something about sound mix.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There a setting in the player under audio that is set to on by default. The manual tells you about it. Turn that setting to Off and when you play Atmos or DTSX your receiver will play that format. I had to google this problem to find this answer. No one can explain why Sony defaults this setting On.
