A:Answer What you need is a new TV if you want the best answer. However, there are devices that take HDMI "in" and [may] output composite or component video. I say "may" because the conversion of HDMI to composite will likely look awful. If you buy a device from, for example, Amazon and you are a Prime member and buy a Prime product, at least you will be able to return it without hassle.
I hate to break it to you, but, seriously, if your TV is so old that it has composite video and analog audio, you really owe it to yourself to replace the old TV with a new state of the art model -- Best Buy is your "best friend" in helping you get one of these new TVs -- and they will even send the Geek Squad to set it up for you for about $150.
This is NOT the unit to buy and attempt to downconvert to a TV this old. Hopefully I've not said something to upset you, but I am telling you the truth. You NEED a new TV to fully appreciate this X800 unit.
