Will this player work with European format DVD's? null

It does not play my store bought region 2 DVD (England and Northern Ireland) of "Alien Legacy Extras", says stopped play by wrong region code.

Upon research on google, I came to the conclusion that it will not work with European (Region B) Blu rays or (Region 2) DVD's.

Hi Brad, Blu-ray players that are sold in the US can only play DVDs with region code 1 (Canada, the United States, and U.S. territories.). -Jerome

i am not certain that i understand your question :: if you mean is it 'region free' i do not currently know :: if you mean will it play discs from another country (same region designation )- ( then, yes) :: if you mean, will it play 4k UltraHD Blu-ray Discs (yes :: there are no region limitations on 4k UltraHD Blu-ray Discs) :: while i do not know, once you clarify i do have a contact that can answer reliably your question :: to be clear, you must clarify if your interest is in playing PAL on this player or 'other region designated discs' - and - whether you are using the term DVD (DVD & Blu-ray) broadly or specifically to mean DVD (SD) or Blu-ray (HD) :: my apology if i am being confusing, but i am trying to clarify as i am not certain of you intent, and i do not have any 'other region discs' to try :: for what it's worth - it's and outstanding player, with fantastic performance and picture quality
