The Sony will stream 4k content from Netflix and Amazon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 65" LG OLED tv. The one big difference on the Panasonic 4K UHD player is it is THX certified. Not sure how many people would really need that. The price on the Panasonic is pretty steep as it's about twice the Sony's price. I would say for the money this Sony player is a bargain for what it offers in terms of picture and audio quality. As far as steaming Netflix or any other app, the Sony doesn't offer too many. I think it comes with Netflix, Amazon and Vudu. However, if you have the LG OLED tv you have a menu with plenty of other apps you can use so really not an issue.
