A:AnswerI was unable to get any video content, or any file type, to be recognized over the USB. This broke after 4 movies use, I would recommend purchasing elsewhere (Amazon, Fry's) with a longer return policy Best Buy's is only 2 weeks. This is a budget 4k player and will get you by on discs. I would recommend an Nvidia Shield for playing your own content.
A:AnswerHi Sean, please refer to pg.12 of the link below for more information on how to connect the player to your TV. Thanks! ^Ron

A:Answerunfortunately the x700 does not play dvd-a...page 29 confirms but the x800 does and uses the hdmi for both sacd and dvd-a vs the 5 analog outputs
A:AnswerWell, I got the UBP-X700 player 2 months ago and I found printed on the box the logo that shows region 1 for DVD's. I tried dvd's other than region 1 and it didn't work. I don't know why they assume this unit is region free.
A:AnswerOf course. Works with any TV via a high speed HDMI cable. Just make sure your cable is rated for 4K and HDR if your TV is capable because the cable has to be rated for it to get the best quality display on your TV.
A:AnswerIt uses a 12v input supplied through a 120V AC adapter. In case you have a compatible 12v adapter that goes into the DVD player, you should be fine. (see pic)
