Will this unit play .avi files? null

I was unable to get any video content, or any file type, to be recognized over the USB. This broke after 4 movies use, I would recommend purchasing elsewhere (Amazon, Fry's) with a longer return policy Best Buy's is only 2 weeks. This is a budget 4k player and will get you by on discs. I would recommend an Nvidia Shield for playing your own content.
