If you're looking just to play both on the TV, the TV should have multiple inputs to accommodate multiple devices. If not, you can purchase an external switch, usually expensive & complicated.

A:AnswerIt should work with one exception. I did the same thing and mine would not work. I found that when creating DVDs for playback on anything other then a computer, make sure that the burn speed is set to 4X. It takes a bit longer to burn but if you use a faster burning speed the DVD may not work. I found this out by trial and error. I re-burned my DVDs at the lower speed and they worked fine.
