A:Answer I have both, Jim. The biggest difference is the wallpaper, honestly. Both perform (overall) the same to me - in the beginning. I've had the 3700 for about a month and I can tell already that she runs faster but, I think that's only because technology updates so often that it was simply time to upgrade (got the 3500 about a year or so ago). The 3500 started giving me grief with YouTube playbacks and kept shutting off YouTube saying that the file type was too large. Haven't had that problem yet with the 3700. Anyway, I'd go ahead with the newer model.
