“I bough Sony -UBP - X1000ES from Best Buy about six months ago. This week, when I put a DVD 4K movie in the machine and played. It came back with a message “no disc”. Do you know why? and how can I fix it? Thanks DD8228.”

• You could position the disc wrong in the disc tray. Try to reposition the disc, hopefully it could recognize the disc.
