Hello J, Thank you for considering Sony products! We’re happy to assist you with your inquiry about the SRS-ULT50 speaker’s lighting function. You can easily turn off the lighting by pressing and holding the LIGHT button located behind the cap on the rear of the speaker for about 3 seconds until the lights switch off. Pressing and holding the button again for 3 seconds will turn the lighting back on.
