A:AnswerHello Loopa,
Thanks for your question!
To connect a turntable to the ULT Tower 9, the connection must be done wirelessly via Bluetooth.
For this to work, your turntable must have a built-in Bluetooth transmitter that supports the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). The ULT Tower 9 is compatible with this profile, which allows for the high-quality transmission of audio content.
While the ULT TOWER 9 also has an AUDIO IN jack, it will not work wired.
Thanks for your interest in our Sony speakers!
Sincerely,
Jenn | Sony Social Media Team.
A:AnswerHi BeastMangledYou, thanks for contacting Sony.
If you connect this unit to your soundbar using an optical cable while the soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI, there is a high likelihood that it will not function properly. Typically, the optical port on a soundbar serves only as an input, not as an output. Therefore, if you connect the SRSULT900 to the soundbar via optical, the soundbar will expect to receive audio rather than send it out.
We recommend the following options:
1. Connect the SRS via Bluetooth to the TV, if possible.
2. Look for compatible rear speakers or subwoofers for your soundbar.
We hope you find this information helpful. For more detailed guidance, we encourage you to consult the unit's help guide, where you can find additional information about connections:

A:AnswerHi Kelz,
No, it's not recommended to use just any power cord. While it might fit, using an incorrect cord can damage your speaker or prevent proper charging.
Always use the original AC power cord that came with your ULT TOWER 9. If you need a replacement, get a genuine one directly from Sony or an authorized retailer to ensure it matches the speaker's specific power requirements.
Thanks for choosing Sony.

A:AnswerHi there,
The ULT Tower 9 does no support Dolby Atmos. It's designed as a party speaker, and its primary focus is on delivering loud, powerful, and bass-heavy sound for a party environment. Dolby Atmos, on the other hand, is a technology focused on creating a precise, immersive, three-dimensional audio experience with distinct height effects, primarily for home theater or critical listening.
Thanks for considering Sony products.
