• Hi rushman55, yes. When you connect your media device to the speaker's audio in jack, the speaker automatically exits Bluetooth mode. Thanks, -Mark

• When you plug a audio line in the blue tooth automatically turns off, so yes it will not be in blue tooth mode if your Ipod is plugged into the speaker box. Just plug in your 1/8 jack and turn power on that's it.
