But, I live in Mexico City, Mexico at this time so what do I do if I need service during the warranty period? Can I take it to a Mexico City Best Buy or does it have to go back to one it was purchased at (Phoenix, AZ)? What is the length of the warranty?”

• The original Sony Limited Warranty covers the VAIO for a period of twelve months from the original date of purchase for both parts and labor. The Sony VAIO model (SVE17135CXB) is shipped with the International Repair and Service Plan (IRSP) which is different from International Warranty. Check the below link for the detailed information about IRSP.
