• Sony's recommended throw distance is 6.5' - 20.1' You would need to ceiling mount for this projector at 20' or less from the screen for the best results. As a side note: None of the current laser line from Sony or JVC have a through distance of 50'. This long distance would reduce light hitting the screen anyway. Your best option is to ceiling mount as close as you can to the screen while still maintaining the image size you need to fill your screen.
