I use Winamp on my PC to make playlists for my Sony. Just plug your Walkman in with the USB. When the computer recognizes you Walkman, bring up Winamp and after Winamp recognizes your Walkman under Devices in the left column, Right click on Walkman in the left column and create a new playlist. A new playlist will appear under walkman with the name hilighted. At this point name the playlist. Then go back to Walkman in the left column and go down the list of songs you have already loaded into the Walkman. Right click on the song you want added to the playlist and select send to playlist then simply select which playlist you want to add the song to. After you have selected all the songs you want to add, Select the playlist in the left column to make sure you have added the songs to your playlist. When you eject the Walkman, the Walkman will show that it is updating your music. I use Winamp to sort my songs and playlists on the Walkman. You can go back and add and remove songs from that playlist. You can also use Winamp to add and remove (in case you have a song on the Walkman twice) songs from the Walkman or even delete playlists. I use Windows Explorer to add an remove songs from the Walkman as it is easier. One note, Winamp will not show songs you have added to the Walkman until you restart Winamp again after adding a song.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Kathryn. You can only transfer playlists created with iTunes to this Walkman. Use iTunes to export playlists in m3u file format. Then use Media Go to import the m3u files and transfer the playlists to the Walkman. «Jerome
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes,You can either Drag & Drop Your Files into the Storage File of Your Choice,or use Your Windows Media Player (Use Player 11 Software,as 10 may not work.),then, with the Right Click of Your Mouse,Select the Option "Synch File To",hit the button, and the File Will Show Up on the Right of Your Screen! Hit "Synch" when You've finished Adding your desired number of Tracks to it,then sit back, for it takes up to 15 Minutes to fully Download Tracks! When It says "Synch Completed. You May Take Your Player Out" Use the "Eject" Option in Your Toolbar Below to remove it-Otherwise You'll Malfunction the Player and make it Unusable!
