Hi jordygs, these headphones may block those noises to some extent. Noise canceling headphones are designed mainly for reducing ambient noise. Regards, -Mark

These earphones are indeed noise cancelling and one of maybe 4 on the market this being #1 out of the 4, that are worthy of the name and worth the price my advice buy warranty. Due to the price just to be safe.
