“How is it that when purchased from Best Buy it takes only 10 minutes to get 30 hours of use? The Sony website says 10 minutes to get 5 hours of use.”

This must be an inaccuracy on Best Buy's website. Charging from near empty to full generally takes around an hour - however, charging for 10 minutes will get you 5 hours of use; I have tested this.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't charge all the way in 10 minutes, so it looks like it's a typo on Best Buy's part. I can confirm that it gives several hours of use on about 10 minutes of charging from a USB battery bank that I have.
