“I bought these for my son at Christmas, but now, the left ear cuff makes a loud ringing sound when he first puts them on. Is this something that can be fixed? He's very upset:(”

I would definitely take them back and have them checked out. Or just return them if you believe they are defective. The only sound that comes from my left ear cuff is the voice saying the product has been turned on/off.
